Music South West 2010 will see national speakers discuss current topics in today’s music industry over two days in Bristol.

The Live Fringe will see the best music from across the South West live each night in over 15 venues around Bristol. Over 100 acts including national and international guests.

Wristbands cost £7 / £5 (concs) per night and £12 / £9 (concs) for both nights. Buy tickets at Bristol Ticket Shop or online by clicking here.

You will be able to pay for entry or buy a wristband on the door at any show (subject to availability).

All day delegate passes include wristbands for the Fringe.

Bursaries for the convention are available. Please contact us to apply for a bursary.

Following a sold out event in 2009, we invited several of the speakers and organisations that were present to join us in looking at opportunities for musicians and music businesses in the south west and if we could work together towards finding a way to improve them. We invite you to join us to hear how those discussions have gone over the past year, to pick up with many of the same speakers and discover what has developed in their own professional world. And don’t forget to bring your music!

Speakers confirmed include: Conal Dodds (Metropolis Music, V Festivals), Geoff Barrow (Invada), Matt Brown (Stay Loose), Jen Long (BBC Introducing), Seth Jackson (PIAS), William Goodchild, Chris Morrison (CMO), Korda Marshall (Infectious), Remi Harris (UK Music), John Empson (Eden), Charles Hazlewood, Sil Wilcox, Crispin Parry (British Underground), Mark Cotton (Big Lottery), Francesca Canty (London 2012), Phil Butterworth (Arts Council), Mark Meharry (Music Glue), Chris Goss (Hospital), Gerard Cantwell (D Style), Leon Alexander (Hope/MIE), Matt Booth (BMF), Adam Saunders (X Ray Touring) and many more.
